Nirvasa

Real estate marketplace for turning seekers into owners

Canada Real Estate web Buying & leasing property marketplace

Linkup became a full-service tech & design partner and provided the Nirvasa founders with an app that stands out among dozens of similar products in a highly competitive market. In addition to standard functions such as selling, buying, and renting properties, we introduced advanced price statistics, an affordability calculator, improved neighborhood insights with an option to explore facilities nearby, and more. There are now well over one million listings on the site in more than 1,100 neighborhoods in 350+ cities across Ontario that include all available properties in the region. The product is currently running marketing campaigns to attract new users.

ClIENT & BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Bringing an Idea to Reality: Tech Partnership for Successful App Development

The two clients approached Linkup to turn their real estate marketplace idea into a launch-ready product. Being seasoned experts in the field, they had a detailed understanding of what kind of solution the market needed. Therefore, our specialists had to process their idea drafts, create a comprehensive UI/UX design, and conduct end-to-end backend and frontend development to create a turnkey solution that would turn Canadian property seekers into owners.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Developing for User Convenience

In the course of creating a high-end real estate product, our team faced the following challenges:

  • Together with clients, we started with an insightful study of large and successful real estate platforms in Canada, the US, and Europe, such as Trulia, Airbnb, Zolo, Realtor, and others. We exchanged impressions, listed their pros and cons, discussed the quality of user experience, and agreed on the functionality to be included in the new product.
  • Nirvasa had a complex architecture, and the Linkup design team worked hard to make the interface understandable, clear, and uncomplicated. We had three iterations before coming up with a solution that matched both ours and the clients' vision.
  • Our backend engineers set up regular information pull and transfer from specialized Canadian real estate listings to Nirvasa's offers list to include all relevant properties in Ontario. For this purpose, we connected RETS APIs (MREB, TREB, CREA) and Elasticsearch.
  • The development team also established a seamless connection between the listing information and its corresponding location on the interactive map, so when a user pulls a map, the property addresses match the listings shown in a second to provide a continuous user experience.

Our specialists took a deep interest and learned about each section, page, and functional benefit for the business and the end customer.

Fusing traditional and innovative features in one real estate app

As a result of the collaboration, Linkup provided full-service сustom software development to our clients and developed the Nirvasa web application, a real estate marketplace, from the ground up.

Unlike competitors' products, Nirvasa provides users not only with options to rent, buy, and browse sold listings but also a range of other advanced features. Customers can find the properties that best fit their request by using broader filters, viewing auto-updated listing pages with relevant estate information, and navigating interactive maps displaying nearby schools, grocery stores, restaurants, fitness centers, and more. A major benefit of the solution is that Canadians can now explore neighborhood statistics and make more informed and grounded real estate-related decisions effortlessly.
