War. Major upset. New circumstances. Shelters. Adaptation. Internal power. Stronger team. Growth in the new reality. Red Dot Design Award. Further plans.
When putin and russia attacked Ukraine, we were all caught off guard. It was a true test for the Linkup team as well. Our C-level executives and I had to rally the team immediately and emphasize that this was a crucial moment for us to give it our all and work as if there was no tomorrow.
The team understood and recognized that while some of us were better suited to be on the front lines, others could contribute more by continuing to write code. Thanks to that strategy, we returned to our everyday workload by March and continued delivering results.
The Ukrainian energy system sustained significant damage due to the russian missile attacks. To overcome these challenges, we implemented solutions such as producing energy through power generators, utilizing Starlink internet, and other available options.
Now, our office and all remote employees have access to the internet and electricity, enabling us to continue working with clients under any circumstances.
I am sure that the entire IT outsourcing market is experiencing a recession. Anyone claiming otherwise is lying or possesses highly specialized and rare expertise.
The solution was to work closely with our clients and demonstrate to current and potential clients that Linkup Studio is a valuable investment and a reliable partner. Our motto, as always, is to deliver results that truly matter.
The past year was filled with so many tragedies that it's hard to pick the most significant ones. Daily war updates, heart-wrenching disasters.
Our office and most of our specialists are located in western Ukraine. There are no regular massive attacks here, and it's safer here. But still, it's tough to witness innocent people losing their homes, loved ones, livelihoods, health, and even their lives.
Thanks to international aid and the Ukrainian army, we are able to work. That's why we make regular donations to support our armed forces.
While many IT outsourcing companies are struggling to stay afloat during these times of recession and war, Linkup Studio has remained strong. We have successfully kept our workforce and resources at a similar level as they were on February 23rd.
The start of the year saw us collaborating with Insoft partners, resulting in a 30% uptick in overall team performance, including revenue, staff, and scope of work. We are not just delighted with the financial growth, but it gives us possibilities to donate more. Our team's priorities have also changed.
We continue to support all of our employees and have maintained regular performance reviews with potential to get a higher salary. We have also ensured that positions are held for mobilized colleagues and are providing support to their families.
In the face of war, my only hope for the company was to remain in business and not go into debt. However, we managed not only to survive, but also grow and improve. Despite the challenges, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to excellence and innovation. As a result, this dedication has been recognized by the prestigious Red Dot award, a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our dedicated team. We are proud to be an industry leader and look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what is possible. I am immensely grateful to everyone at LinkUp for their tireless efforts and to the Lord for his guidance and support.
