A Global Marketplace for Trusted Ukrainian Tech Companies
CodeUA is a B2B technology marketplace that connects international clients with vetted Ukrainian IT companies and specialists. The platform was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Lviv IT Cluster, and supported by programs like USAID’s “Competitive Economy of Ukraine.”
Its primary role is to help global businesses find and work with Ukrainian vendors across a wide range of services — from software development and cloud solutions to consulting and cybersecurity.
Existing Linkup ST clients participated as evaluators, acting as the target audience for UX validation.
Traditional paths for international collaboration often require extensive outreach, vetting, and negotiation. CodeUA addresses that by providing a central hub where companies with proven track records are presented in a consistent, searchable format. It reduces friction in initial discovery and helps organizations — whether startups or large enterprises — find suitable partners without navigating fragmented channels.
The initiative also has a broader purpose: supporting the Ukrainian tech industry’s visibility and competitiveness on the global stage, especially in the context of ongoing economic challenges.
We designed CodeUA with a very practical goal in mind: help international clients quickly understand who they are dealing with and feel confident about that choice. Our task was to bring order without making the experience feel rigid or heavy.
We focused on clear navigation and filtering so users could move from broad browsing to specific options without friction.
The result is a platform that works well for first-time visitors who are still exploring, and just as well for returning users who arrive with a clear objective and little time to spare.
The redesigned CodeUA platform established a strong digital presence for Ukrainian tech companies on the global market. Clear messaging and structured vendor presentation increased confidence among international clients and improved partner discovery. CodeUA now serves as a centralized entry point for global businesses seeking Ukrainian tech expertise.
